An Evening with an Artist - Linda J Hall
Time & Location
About the Event
Prepare to be charmed and uplifted by the melodic sounds from the Celtic regions of Scotland and Ireland. Allow your spirits to take flight as the music transports you to a higher plane, where positivity and wonderment reign supreme. Linda will be sharing her insights and perspectives on her musical passion, playing songs, and then participate in a question and answer period at the end of the evening. This promises to be a memorable evening. Don't miss this one. Light refreshments will be provided.
Linda Hall is a well-known, and well-loved Sangerville native. She started studying piano at age five with Betty Knaut in Dover-Foxcroft. Linda taught elementary school locally as well as in England. After retiring from education, she provided piano lessons to children and adults in her home music studio. After ten years she closed the studio to devote more time to her new passion, teaching herself to play the Celtic Harp. Linda has performed locally for several years: Stutzman's Farm Stand and Bakery, the Commons in Dover-Foxcroft, several local churches, and currently performs private harp concerts in her home as a fundraiser for the food cupboard at the UU Church in Sangerville. She is affectionately known as "The Harp Lady".
